Oil platform China built for British oil company to be put into operation

Almaty. February 10. Silkroadnews – In the near future COSCO Shipyard will put into operation cylindrical floating platform for oil production, storage and offloading produced for British company Dana Petroleum”, “Xinhua” agency wrote.

As noted, the platform has already moved from Jiangsu Province (east China) to the North Sea.

The diameter of the main platform deck is 78 m, height – 36,5 m. The structure’s total weight is almost 28 thousand tonnes. The platform capacity allows processing 50 thousand barrels of liquid gas on a daily basis and store a maximum of 40 thousand barrels of crude oil and 4 billion standard cubic feet of gas. The platform operating period in the sea is 20 years.
