Almaty. July 7. Silkroadnews - Tajikistan's approved oil reserves amount to 8 million tons, natural gas - 620 million cubic meters, reports the Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Tuesday.
According to Tajikistan's trade representative office in Germany, in the depths of Tajikistan lie 113.1 million tons of oil, 863 billion cubic meters of gas and 36 million tons of gas condensate. The most promising for the development areas are: East Supetau in northern Tajikistan with estimated oil reserves of 20.5 million tons and - 14.3 billion cubic meters of gas; the southwest of the Republic - Rengan field - with estimated gas reserves of 50 billion cubic meters; Kashakum - with estimated oil reserves of 4.9 million tons; East Olimtoi - 3.9 million tons of oil; Yalgizkak - gas - up to 20 billion cubic meters; Sargazon - gas at 30 billion cubic meters.
