On January 25-28, 2016, the Iranian President will visit Italy, Vatican and France
Almaty. January 26. Silkroadnews - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will visit Italy, Vatican City and France, the Iranian News Agency (IrTAG) reports.
This is the first foreign visit of the Iranian president after the launch, on January 16, 2016, of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on the nuclear program of Iran reached between Tehran and six world nations, and the lifting of sanctions related to Iran’s nuclear program.
During his visit to Italy on January 25-26 in Rome H. Rouhani met with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. There will also be a meeting with the head of the Iranian government with the businessmen and industrialists of Italy.
The head of Iran will also meet the Pope Francis in Vatican.
During the two-day visit of the Iranian president in Paris on January 27-28 he shall meet with French President Francois Hollande. The negotiations are expected to result in signing several bilateral agreements on cooperation in different areas, including air transportation, health and agriculture. The agreements and memorandums on cooperation in car industry, energy, development of rail transport are also being prepared for signing.
