Almaty. April 3. Silkroadnews - Ten customs located on "the economic zone of the Silk Road" in China, from May 1 will begin reforms to integrate customs clearance procedures in order to create a "golden channel" for international logistics along the belt, passes "Xinhua".
"The reform will cover 10 customs services 9 provinces and regions of China, including Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang and Tibet Autonomous Region", - says the publication.
It is expected that due to the reform of the customs formalities will be simplified and reduced the cost of logistics. According to the customs of Qingdao City, Shandong Province, this step will allow enterprises to reduce the cost of customs clearance for goods by 20-30%.
Such measure to combinate customs clearance procedures was undertaken last year in the area of ​​Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic zone and the Yangtze River Basin in Guangdong Province, the customs procedures have been also simplified in the north-east of the country.
Upon completion of customs integration along the "Silk Road economic belt" the mentioned reform would cover only 42 customs points of China.
