Almaty. October 2. Silkroadnews - On the Tajik-Uzbek border opened two border points with the latest equipment to combat drug trafficking, informs Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA).
The first two of a series of planned items were recently discovered at the border between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the framework of solving the problem of illicit drug flows through Central Asia. These items will help to direct interaction between the border services of the two countries and to assist in the suppression of attempts to transfer drugs.
New border crossing points are the result of the project management of the United Nations, aimed at combating drug trafficking. This project is essential to stem the flow of drugs from Afghanistan and stability in Central Asia.
