Almaty. January 8. Silkroadnews - Only 48% of settlements in Tajikistan are supplied with drinking water, reported Tajik news agency (TajikTA) on Thursday. This was announced by Director General of State Unitary Enterprise "Housing and communal services" Alimurod Tagoymurodov, responding to a question at a press conference in Dushanbe.
He also said that in Tajikistan, the price of drinking water is very low in comparison with neighboring countries.
According to him, the country can not run out of debt for electricity.
A. Tagoymurodov also stressed that the debts accumulated due to the fact that the Ministry of Economy pays only 32% for the World War II veterans, police officers, retired, and members of the Afghan war, the disabled, pensioners and veterans of Chernobyl.
