OPEC forecasts slight decrease of oil production in Kazakhstan in 2015

Almaty. May 20.Silkroadnews - Average daily oil production in Kazakhstan in 2015 will be declined by 10 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous year and will be in average 1.61 million barrels a day, informed Trend with reference to the May report of OPEC on the oil market.
"In the first quarter of 2015 production averaged to 1.66 million barrels per day. In the second, third and fourth quarters, respectively, it will be 1.60 million barrels per day, 1.59 million barrels per day and 1.61 million barrels a day, respectively", - says the report of OPEC.
According to the report, in March 2015, oil production in Kazakhstan fell by 10 thousand barrels per day compared to  the February and amounted to 1.67 million barrels per day.
"This figure is slightly higher than in March 2014. Production at the five of the ten largest fields in Kazakhstan in the first quarter of 2015 declined", - said in a statement.
In 2014, according to the report, oil production in Kazakhstan fell by 20 thousand barrels per day compared to the previous year and averaged to 1.62 million barrels a day. Quarterly crude oil production in 2014 averaged to 1.65 million, 1.57 million, 1.61 million and 1.66 million barrels per day, respectively.
It is noted that the forecast has not changed compared to the previous report on the oil market, released in April.
As indicated in the publication, the largest oil fields in Kazakhstan are Tengiz, Karachaganak and Kashagan.
