OPEC improved its crude demand forecast by 35 thousand barrels a day for 2017
Almaty. February 14. Silkroadnews – The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) improved its forecast for global crude consumption in 2017 by 35 thousand barrels a day, the organization’s February report says.
Thus, the demand for oil in 2017 is expected to grow by 1.19 million barrels a day compared to 2016. At the same time the global demand forecast for 2017 has been increased to 95.81 million barrels.
The OPEC’s estimate for growth in demand for crude in 2016 is increased by 70 thousand barrels a day to 1.32 million barrels, the volume of demand in 2016 is estimated at 94.62 million barrels.
