Opening customs borders led to increase of drug shipments from Kazakhstan to Russia, Prosecutor of the Russian Federation
Almaty. August 7. Silkroadnews - With the opening of customs borders increased the flow of drugs from Kazakhstan to Russia, told KazTAG citing Deputy Prosecutor of Russian Federation Yuriy Ponomarev.
"Only in 2013 in Russian Federation twice increased the number of drug smuggling committed by citizens of Kazakhstan", - said Yuriy Ponomarev at the forum of heads of border prosecutors of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on Thursday.
"Increasing the volume and flow of hard drugs from China. All this requires the development of new methods and forms of cooperation between law enforcement bodies of Russia and Kazakhstan ", - said Yuriy Ponomarev.
He added that the prosecutor offices of both countries have to "perform the main part of the general issues relating to the prosecution authorities of two countries".
