Over 300,000 refugees have returned to Afghanistan since beginning of year

Beijing. June 20. Silkroadnews - More than 300,000 migrants have returned to Afghanistan over the past five months, Afghanistan’s Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Said Balkhi reported, the Afghan Telegraph Agency (AfTAG) reports.
The statement was made on the eve of the World Refugee Day observed on June 20. Balkhi shared the numbers on the current process of returning Afghan refugees to their homeland.
From all over the world, 332,453 migrants from neighboring countries, Asia and European countries returned, the minister said, adding that 1201 refugees arrived from Europe to Afghanistan, including 955 returned under voluntary programs and 246 deportees.
More than 1,000 Afghan refugees have returned from Pakistan over the last two weeks.
About 7,000 illegal immigrants have been deported to Afghanistan from Turkey.
According to the Ministry of Refugees, more than 6 million migrants from Afghanistan live abroad, due to unstable situation in the country, low level of security and socio-economic problems, TOLO television station reported.
