Pakistan has simplified visa regime for Afghan drivers
Almaty. October 3. Silkroadnews – Pakistan reported on simplification of visa regime for the Afghan drivers working in goods transportation, AfTAG reports.
Agreement on simplification of visa regime for trailer trucks drivers has been reached in the course of negotiations between the governments of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The agency reminds, starting from October 1, Pakistani authorities have restricted the entry to the territory of Afghanistan for citizens without passports and visas.
It is reported that on Saturday the Afghan-Pakistan border in Torkham border point gathered hundreds of trucks, whose drivers were refused entry to Pakistan due to lack of necessary documents. As a result of the negotiations of the authorities of both countries the Afghan drivers have been allowed to cross the border.
