Almaty. December 20. Silkroadnews – Pakistan is interested to establish direct air and rail links with Uzbekistan, Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways (PR), Khawaja Saad Rafique said, Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.
During his meeting with the ambassador of Uzbekistan in Pakistan Furkat Sidikov both sides agreed on the need to develop bilateral relations for mutual cooperation.
The Minister noted that direct air and rail links between two countries will contribute to improve trade relations and bilateral contacts.
The participants also discussed the issues of development of railway infrastructure and training of specialists in the railway sector.
