Pakistan reopens border with Afghanistan after London talks

Almaty. March 24. Silkroadnews – All border points on the Afghan-Pakistan border and trade ports were reopened on Tuesday due to the agreement reached last week in London, AfTAG writes.

Earlier, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ordered the trade points Torkham and Chaman to be reopened.

Previously AfTAG reported, the border with Pakistan was closed on February 17 as Afghanistan was accused of a terrorist threat.

The Chaman customs post was opened on the morning of March 21. The border can be crossed by both the nationals who have valid visas and those who does not have visas.

The border closing resulted in substantial losses for businessmen of both sides.
