Parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan were held without violations - SCO mission

Almaty. December 22. Silkroadnews - Elections to the legislature (lower) House of Parliament of Uzbekistan, on December 21, were held in accordance with national law and their international obligations, from the statement of the observer mission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on Monday.
As noted in the document, in order to objectively assess procedures for the election, the SCO mission was represented at 73 polling stations. Observers believe that voting were carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law on elections to the Parliament and other legal documents.
Four registered political parties - the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP), People's Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (People's Democratic Party), Democratic Party of Uzbekistan "Milly Tiklanish" ("National Revival"), the Social Democratic Party "Adolat" ("Justice") - during the elections will distribute 135 seats. In addition, 15 seats given to deputies from the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan.
