Petroleum products supply from Russia to Tajikistan is exempt from state duties
Almaty. June 30. Silkroadnews – Supply of petroleum products from Russia to Tajikistan is exempt from state duties, Tajik telegraph agency (TajikTA) reported on Thursday.
“According to the intergovernmental agreement ratified by the Federation Council, the supply of oil products from Russia to Tajikistan is exempt from state duties,” the publication states.
The document has been presented by the Member of the Committee of International Affairs Sergey Tsekov.
He said the agreement defines the competent authorities responsible to control its implementation, they are the ministries of energy of both countries.
Each year the parties will agree on the volumes of petroleum products domestic consumption in Tajikistan and sign the indicative balances on them.
“It is important that with this such petroleum products cannot be re-exported to the third countries,” the report says.
