PLA base in Djibouti conducted antiterrorist exercises
Beijing. May 17. Silkroadnews - The Djibouti base of material and technical support of the People’s Liberation Army conducted military exercises under high temperatures conditions to strengthen its potential in the field of combating terrorism, Xinhua reports.
The exercises started at 8 a.m. in total for 15 programs at the local shooting range under 40-degree heat, with using various types of weapons in precision strikes.
The program was aimed at strengthening the troops’ fighting capabilities in connection with emergency situations in combating terrorists. The exercises under conditions of high temperature of air also increased the quality of combat management, coordination of logistics and equipment supply.
