Practical rules for countering terrorism have been introduced in China

Beijing. June 18. Silkroadnews - China published a document explaining what actions constitute assisting terrorists, preparing for terrorist activities and propaganda of terrorism, Global Times reports.
The Supreme People’s Procuratorate, the Supreme People’s Court, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice issued a document on practical standards for judges and prosecutors to identify new crimes related to terrorism, introduced in the new edition of the Criminal Law in 2015, and regulating prosecution procedures.
As stated in the document, people who donate or sell their property to sponsor terrorist groups or provide equipment, transportation or weapons for terrorists will be considered as contributing to terrorist activities. Those who help in recruiting or crossing borders also commit the crime of assisting terrorists.
People who produce, buy, store and transport explosives and other dangerous substances for terrorist acts, organize training personally or via the Internet, participate in such training or come into contact with foreign terrorist groups, will be convicted of preparing for terrorist activities.
People who compile, publish, print, copy, distribute and broadcast publications, audio and video products containing a terrorist and extremist ideology, will be convicted of advocating terrorism and extremism and inciting terrorist activities.
The document emphasizes that a person who owns illegal documents and videos can be convicted of illegal possession, if he or she is a recidivist offender or convicted of terrorist crimes in the last two years.
