Prepared protocols on the conditions of accession of Kyrgyzstan to the EAEC
Almaty. February 5. Silkroadnews - prepared protocols on the conditions of accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC), reported the press service of the Prime Minister.
On February 4, Moscow hosted the first meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev.
One of the main issues on the agenda was the question of a draft protocol on the terms of the Kyrgyz Republic accession to the EAEC.
"We have reached an amicable solution and the draft protocol of accession of Kyrgyzstan is ready. Extension of the Eurasian Economic Union, noot mentioning increasing of the common economic space, provides attractiveness for integration association, additional stability for the development of the economies of the members of the union. The basis for this - is the deepening of industrial and agro-industrial linkages, the development of transport and logistics, transit potential of the Union. In the current difficult economical conditions, these are the most important factors",- said B. Sagintayev.
It is also reported that during the meeting were addressed issues aimed at developing international cooperation with major trading partners as each Member State separately, and the union as a whole. This issue will be discussed on February 6 at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Heads of Government. Later will be identified the main vectors of development of international cooperation of EAEC.
According to B. Sagintayev, reached a common understanding on the phased implementation of a pilot system for labeling products of light industry in 2015-2016 years. In particular, it was decided to mark the initial stage of products such as clothing and products made of natural fur. This issue will also be considered by the heads of government on February 6.
In addition, reviewed progress on the preparation of the draft Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union, the adoption of which will allow the customs declaration in electronic form, which in turn will accelerate the time of customs clearance.
