President of Kazakhstan does not intend to hand over power by inheritance

Almaty. November 24. Silkroadnews – President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev does not intend to hand over power by inheritance, he said in his interview with Bloomberg, KazTAG writes.

“I do not consider an option to hand over the power to my children, I believe, this question does not come up for us. We have a due procedure to hand over the power as determined by the Constitution. My intention is to work till 2020, and then in 2020 we will meet with you again”, Nursultan Nazarbayev said in his interview published on Wednesday.

With this he noted that his decision on seeking another presidential term in 2020 will depend on his health and the level of public support.

According to N. Nazarbayev, the economic crisis is not the time to leave the presidential vertical.
