President of Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan discussed bilateral cooperation

Almaty. March 4. Silkroadnews - Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev met with President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in the country on a working visit, reports KyrTAG.
During the meeting of heads of states discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan in the trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as prospects for further bilateral cooperation.
Atambayev, noted the cultural and historical ties of the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and Tatarstan and the untapped potential of the Kyrgyz-Tatarstan cooperation, expressed confidence that the accession of Kyrgyzstan to the Eurasian Economic Union will open up broad prospects for expansion and deepening of bilateral relations in various fields.
Atambayev said that Kyrgyzstan attaches great importance to developing relations with its main strategic partner - Russia, including its subjects. In this regard, the President stressed the importance of the Kyrgyz-Tatarstan Business Forum, which takes place these days in Bishkek.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov also stressed the need to build relationships.
