President of Uzbekistan met with voters from south-western region

Almaty. February 20. Silkroadnews - The presidential candidate from the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov met voters in Kashkadarya region, reported the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG).
"Islam Karimov presented such important areas as the full development of Uzbekistan, consistent continuation of large-scale socio-economic reforms and steady increase of incomes and quality of life", - says the publication.
In particular, in the election program Karimov paid special attention to the modernization of the economy, the construction of new industrial enterprises, further development of small business and private entrepreneurship, continued implementation of localization programs to further improve the investment climate, employment and raise of living standards.
It is noted that this meeting was the first for Islam Karimov during his pre-election tour.
