President of Uzbekistan to pay a four-day visit to South Korea
Almaty. November 20. Silkroadnews - On November 22-25 the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of President Moon Jae-in, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) informs.
As press service of the head of state reports, “during the high-level talks it is planned to discuss a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda, prospects for further development of interstate relations in the political, trade-economic, financial-investment, scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, exchange views on regional and international issues.”
The visit agenda also includes Uzbek president’s meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly and Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea, attending the Uzbek-South Korean business forum with participation of heads of leading economic and financial institutions of the two countries.
The presidents, as expected, will adopt a Joint Statement on the comprehensive deepening of the strategic partnership, as well as sign a weighty package of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents, commercial agreements and contracts providing for the strengthening and expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
