Presidential elections in Afghanistan fixed more then 6.5 thousand of violations

Almaty. June18. Silkroadnews - Presidential elections in Afghanistan had more than 6.5 thousand violations, according to Afghan news agency (AfTAG).
«FEFA (Foundation for free and fair elections in Afghanistan - Silkroadnews) noted 6651 irregularities at the day of elections", - quotes head of the agency FEFA Nadir Naderi on Wednesday.
According to the report, 396 polling stations were opened later than needed, 368 did not have enough ballots, 344 were closed later then regulated, and 269 had problems with the quality of the ink for labeling on the fingers of voters.
In addition, restrictions have been violated by campaigning around polling stations.
The report also argues that FEFA observers were not allowed to monitor 176 polling stations, this often happened under the threat of violence. FEFA highlighted the police intervention and interference of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), as the most serious violations of the electoral process.
Recall, according to results of the first round of elections, more than 5 thousand employees of IEC were blacklisted because of their participation in the fraud.
Other problems listed by FEFA: vote minors, lack of ballots, the intervention of influential figures and public officials, families influence on women's participation in voting.
Investigation of fraud will be engaged after the FEFA final reports.
