Presidential elections in Iran will be held in May in 2017

Almaty. July 27. KazTAG - The presidential elections in Iran will be held on May 19 2017, reports the TASS news agency.
"The 12th presidential elections in Iran will take place on May 19, 2017. The President is elected by the results of the comprehensive secret voting for two years with the right of reelection for one more term," the message reports.
Hassan Rouhani, current President of Iran, was elected on August 2 2013.
The President in Iran is the head of executive power and the second highest official after the chairman of the Islamic Republic of Iran - currently Ayatolla Ali Hamenei.
