Presidents of Uzbekistan and China signed a number of documents on cooperation

Almaty. May 15. Silkroadnews – The Uzbek and Chinese presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Xi Jinping signed a joint statement between the two countries, the Uzbek Telegraph Agency (UzTAG) reports.

The document was signed following the talks Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Xi Jinping held within the framework of “One Belt, One Road” forum in Beijing.

Intergovernmental agreements on technical cooperation and international road transport have also been signed. The parties exchanged intergovernmental notes on financing the projects to improve the quality of education in general schools and equipping the healthcare sector with modern medical equipment.

Among the documents signed there were also memorandum of understanding in the field of veterinary medicine and plant inspection quarantine, memorandum of understanding on stimulating cooperation between small business and private entrepreneurs, and plan for cooperation in inter-agency exchange in the field of agriculture for 2018-2020.
To remind the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in the PRC on May 11.
