Prime Minister of Kazakhstan headed the board of the Eurasian Development Bank
Almaty. February 6. Silkroadnews - Prime Minister Karim Masimov was elected as a Chairman of the Council of the Board of Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), reported KazTAG.
As noted in the press release, the council chose Russian Deputy Finance Minister Dmitry Pankin as chairman of the bank. He will assume his office on 18 February. And his new deputy is appointed Maxim Korzhov.
The Eurasian Development Bank is an international financial institution established by Russia and Kazakhstan in January 2006 to promote the development of market economies, their sustainable economic growth and expansion of mutual trade and economic ties. The authorized capital exceeds $1.5 billion. Bank's member states are: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
