Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan instructed to expedite the work on the implementation of the Upper Naryn cascade
Almaty. May 13. Silkroadnews - Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temir Sariev held a meeting with the heads of the state bodies for the construction of the Upper Naryn cascade, reports KyrTAG.
"We need to resolve issues of energy sector of the country and to implement projects on generating capacity. For these purposes, was signed an agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Russian Federation on construction and operation of the Upper Naryn cascade HPP", - said T. Sariev.
T. Sariev noted the importance of strengthening work on the project of construction of the HPP.
"In 2016 planned commissioning of the unit at the HPP, so it is necessary to accelerate the pace of work", - he explained.
Following the meeting, the Prime Minister instructed the responsible public authorities to speed up the execution of works on allocation of land plots for the construction of the Upper Naryn cascade, to consider issues related to the financing of the project and the contribution of the mechanism of formation by the Kyrgyz side authorized capital of JSC "Upper-Naryn hydroelectric power station", and to improve the legal framework for land acquisition which are privately owned.
