Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Pakistan called for the revitalization of the free economic zones
Dushanbe. June 18. Silkroadnews - Prime Ministers of Tajikistan and Pakistan, Qohir Rasulzoda and Muhammad Navoz Sharif called for the revitalization of the free economic zones in the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajik news agency reports (TajikTA).
"At the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral Tajik-Pakistani relations. The heads of government stressed on the need for cooperation between the business community to revitalize the free economic zones in Tajikistan and import of modern technology"- quoted by a senior consultant of presidential press service of RT Subhiddin Muhiddinov.
They discussed issues of cooperation in economic, trade, transport and communications, energy, industrial, educational and cultural spheres.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the level of interaction between the parties, stressing readiness to set up joint ventures in various fields, including in the field of investment. The prime ministers of two countries noted that friendly relations between Pakistan and Tajikistan are secured by more than 30 interstate and intergovernmental agreements on cooperation in the majority in the economic sphere.
Recall, the Prime Minister of Pakistan is on an official visit to Tajikistan.
