Producer price inflation in China fell to a 4-month low
Almaty. December 11. Silkroadnews - Producer price inflation in China reached a 4-month low level, the Straits Times reported.
“China's producer price inflation slowed to a four-month low last month as factory activity softened due to the government's ongoing efforts to curb pollution, cooling demand from factories for raw materials,” the publication reads.
With the heating season entering in the north of China in mid-November, the government has intensified efforts to combat smog, restricting the activities of many steel mills, various factories and factories.
At the same time, in November commodity prices rose 7.5% compared to 9% in October, while on a month-on-month basis, the PPI rose 0.5 per cent.
