Producer prices rose 6.9% in China in September

Almaty. October 16. Silkroadnews - Producer prices rose 6.9% in China in September, Xinhua news agency reported.
“China’s producer price index (PPI), which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, rose 6.9 percent year on year in September, data showed on Monday,” the report said.
It is noted that PPI growth rate accelerated from 6.3% registered in August, and exceeded the market forecast of 6.4%. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the monthly increase in the index was up 1%.
It is reported that for the first nine months of the year PPI rose 6.5% compared to the previous year.
