Almaty. January 13. Silkroadnews - Production sector of Kyrgyzstan experiences a problem of lack of products standardization, Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Daniyar Imanaliyev said.
“We have small and medium businesses which are very active and quite developed. The share of small and medium businesses is high in our country similar to Japan and Turkey. About 40% of GDP is produced by small and medium-sized businesses. When started to explore the ways to enter new markets, among other difficulties we run into a problem of small marketability of our production, we do not have the standardization of products”, KyrTAG quotes the minister speaking at the round table “2016 - the year of new opportunities” on Wednesday.
He specified that “when carried out the calibration and checked with the standards, we could not find the homogeneous products, which would be similar in size, color, taste”.
“This is a significant problem of our economy. We shall work to have been included into a single added value, into one chain, to enter the market with a brand recognizable for Kyrgyzstan, it shall be the Kyrgyz product”, D.Imanaliyev said.
He noted that there are many models in the global economy to combine resources and act within one value chain to extend and improve the Kyrgyz products quality.
