Prospects of the Kazakhstani-Chinese cooperation in the telecommunications field have been discussed in the “Silicon Valley” of China

Silkroadnews - During his working visit the ambassador of Kazakhstan to China Shahrat Nuryshev came to Shenzhen (Guangdong Province, the “Silicon Valley” of China), visited the headquarter of Huawei corporation and discussed with the company’s vice-president the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the field of telecommunications, the press service of the Kazakhstani ministry of foreign affairs reports.
“The ambassador got acquainted with the company’s advanced developments in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), “Safe City” and “Smart city” technologies, use of 4G and 5G mobile internet, Cloud computing, Big data centers. During the meeting with the vice-president of Huawei Lin Zhuytsi parties have discussed prospects of cooperation between two countries’ companies in the information, telecommunications and Internet sectors,” - said a statement on the Foreign Ministry website.
Lin Zhuytsi, in her turn, noted the Corporation intends to continue cooperation with Kazakhstan and share their experiences in the field of ICT within EXPO-2017 projects.
According to her, the corporation is interested to develop cooperation with Kazakhstan on providing population with access to the broadband Internet and on the program “Information Kazakhstan-2020”.
During the meeting the sides have also exchanged views on the implementation of agreements reached during the visit at all the levels involved, pairing program of infrastructure development “Nurly Zhol” and “Economic belt of the Silk Road” in the telecommunications sector.
