Almaty. October 20. Silkroadnews - Results of presidential elections voting announced void at four polling stations in Jalal-Abad oblast, Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Telegraph Agency (KyrTAG) reported with reference to the chairman of the Coalition For Democracy and Civil Society Azamat Adilov.
Territorial electoral committee of the Suzak district of Jalal-Abad oblast overturned the voting results for 2118, 2119, 2120, 2126 polling stations. The reason behind is the number of citizens identified by the state registration service did not coincide with the number of bulletins in the automated reading device. Thus, the territorial electoral committee annulled the election results at these four polling stations, he explained.
A.Adilov also noted, in case someone lodges a complaint with the central electoral committee, the territorial electoral committee may consider the issue, and until then the results are announced null and void.
To remind, on October 15 Kyrgyzstan held presidential elections, Sooronbay Jeenbekov won with more than 54% of vote. Currently, the processing of voting results continues, the results are to be announced by the central electoral committee within 20 days.
