Almaty. May 29. Silkroadnews - Rising prices for fuel in Iran will not lead to a rise in price of commodities in the country, reports Trend.
According to the publication, the price of fuel rose in Iran on May 25 by 40% due to the fact that the administration of President Hassan Rouhani attempted to stabilize the situation with the state budget.
According to the vice-president of Iran for planning and strategic supervision Mohammad Bagir Nobahta, the government's decision to raise fuel prices will lead to increase of state budget revenues by $1 billion.
