Russia and China to create their own rating agency

Moscow. June 4. Silkroadnews - Russia and China are to create their own rating agency. It is meant to provide ratings for their joint projects, as Russian BBC service informs.
"We would like our ratings to not be politicised", Russian Minister of Finance, Anton Saluanov, is quoted as saying.
The agency is to be designed in the same way as its international predecessors.
"In the beginning, this agency is to provide ratings for projects and investments in the area of Sino-Russian cooperation and for a number of Asian countries. As the agency "gains weight" and receives recognition, we think it should reach the level where it would serve other countries that need rating services", Minister Saluanov said.
