Russia plans to supply car-building products in Iran
Almaty. April 12. Silkroadnews - Russian car manufacturing companies will start delivering their products to Iran and grow their export potential as a whole, “Vedomosti” reports the Russian minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov saying.
“We have a positive trend on the delivery of car-building products for export as compared to the last year. ( ... ) Last year the deliveries volume grew five times. This year, in addition to the countries we used to work last year – Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania and Estonia – we also expect starting deliveries to Iran,” the newspaper quoted D. Manturov.
Minister added, “me and my colleagues are working now to finalize the contracts and hope we will start deliveries (to Iran)”.
He emphasized that this year “as well as in the automotive industry, the specific support measures have been identified with account of recovery for the logistics costs of shipping transport engineering products for export”.
“As every country has its own requirements for railway equipment, we develop special modifications to meet the needs of our foreign partners,” said the minister.
