Almaty. August 19. Silkroadnews - Russia removes all restrictions on the supply of vegetables and fruits from Kyrgyzstan, said KyrTAG.
"We are removing all restrictions on supply of Kyrgyz fruits and vegetables to the Russian Federation, in the case of unjustified barriers - contact me - we will provide assistance", - said the first deputy chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Igor Shuvalov at a meeting of Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at the level of the first vice-prime ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, held in Moscow.
Meanwhile, according to the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniel Ibraev, Kyrgyzstan currently has a high export potential, including the terms of environmental safety. In particular, the country is ready to export to the markets of the Customs Union meat, dairy products, vegetables, melons, fruits and dried fruits, nuts, honey.
"However, there are several factors that limit our export possibilities, including the mandatory requirements of the technical regulations, sanitary, phytosanitary and veterinary measures, conformity in the CU, which complicate exports to their markets and reduce their competitiveness", - said D . Ibraev.
He recalled that CU currently has a ban on import of meat and meat products from the KR, noting that Kyrgyzstan is ready to increase its exports, in particular in connection with the introduced by Russia sanctions.
As a result of the discussion, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation was instructed to establish conditions for export of agricultural products to Russia from KR and enter of Kyrgyz producers to the network of stores and markets of the Russian Federation; for further work with the Russian side on the possible resolution of the Kyrgyz supply of meat and dairy products.
