Russia to provide border service of Kazakhstan with passenger aircraft

Almaty. October 21. Silkroadnews – In November the Border service of Kazakhstan expects to receive VIP-version of Sukhoi Super Jet 100 aircraft from Russia, Russian media report.

“According to Masalov (Vice-President of the Civil Aviation of the United Aircraft Corporation – Silkroadnews), the point in case is about delivery of one aircraft to the border service of Kazakhstan. Delivery is scheduled to be carried out at the end of November”, the statement said.

It is noted, the cost of conventional SSJ-100 is about $34 million, though the price of VIP-version can vary depending on the customer’s preferences on the aircraft interior.

Currently three aircraft SSJ-100 in the VIP-version are operated by the Russian government customers and agencies. Another two aircraft of this model are operated by Thai Air Force.
