Russia will become one of the three largest shareholders of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank

Almaty. November 16. Silkroadnews - Following the ratification of the agreement on the establishment of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (ABII) Russia will be one of the three largest shareholders, along with China and India. Participation in ABII will allow the country to raise funds to projects in the Far East and strengthen relations with the Asia-Pacific region, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
The Prime Minister reminded that the bank's authorized capital is $100 billion, the contributions of participants in it are made in equal installments over the next five years.
