Almaty. December 24. Silkroadnews - Russia will provide Iran with a loan of $ 2.2 billion for the construction of power plants, reported the newspaper "Vedomosti".
"The issue of public credit is discussed, we understand its scope and how they will choose it. Now we have to agree on the parameters of supply under the contracts. As soon as our industrial strength will be ready to supply equipment and perform the contracts, we are ready to issue financial documents", - said the first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov.
According to him, all within the framework of the credit line will be provided $5 billion, of which $2.2 billion will be used to finance the construction of power stations and electrification of railways.
