Sanitary-epidemiological inspections on businesses will be reduced twice in Kyrgyzstan

Almaty. February 25. Silkroadnews - The complex of important reforms to improve the business environment carried out last year also assumes to cut by half the number of inspections the sanitary control service undertakes on the businesses. This statement was made by the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Temir Sariyev, KyrTAG reports.
“Last year we carried out a complex of important reforms to improve the business environment. In particular, starting from the third quarter of 2015 for the small and medium businesses, as well as for non-profit organizations, the tax records changed over from monthly to quarterly basis; as of January 1, 2016, the sales tax for the export of goods, works and services is removed. Since July 1 the sales tax shall be removed for     VAT taxpayer in case of sale of goods and services in non-cash form,” - said T. Sariyev at the meeting of Business Development and Investment Council on Thursday.
He noted the VAT registration threshold has doubled (from 4 million to 8 million som).
“Since December 1, 2015, we carry out a pilot project to transfer the administration of the social contributions from the Social Fund to the state tax service. We have already reduced twice the timing of checks from 30 to 15 working days, for small businesses - to 5 working days, and now we intend to release the new entrepreneurs from inspections for 3 years; cut by half a number of inspections by the sanitary and epidemiological service, reduce the inspection duration to 1 day,” - the Prime Minister said.
