Saudi Arabia has refused to freeze oil without Iran

Almaty. April 1. Silkroadnews - Saudi Arabia will not freeze its oil production unless Iran and other producers refuse to join the agreement, RBC informs with reference to Bloomberg.

“Saudi Arabia will only freeze its oil output if Iran and other major producers do so,” the publication says quoting the deputy crown prince and minister of defense of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman.

He became the first Saudi government official who formally refuted the statements that Riyadh agreed to freeze oil production even if Tehran refuses to join the agreement.

The meeting to discuss the issue of the oil production freezing will be held in Doha on April 17. 12 countries have confirmed their participation in the meeting, according to him, these are Saudi Arabia, Russia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Venezuela, Nigeria, Algeria, Indonesia, Ecuador, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
