Saudi Arabia was ahead of Russia on oil export volume to China
Almaty. July 22. Silkroadnews - China imported 4.569 mln tons of oil from Saudi Arabia in June 2016, reports Reuters with a reference to the central customs department of China.
China imported 1.112 mln barrels of Saudi oil per day in June. 14.2% down year on year, but 0.9 mln barrels more than in May. According to the first half year data, import of Saudi oil increased by 0.24% to 1.06 mln barrels a day.
Import from Russia amounted to 4.107 mln tons, i.e. 0.999 mln barrels a day, it lowered to the record 1.24 mln barrels a day in May of this year. Russian oil import to China increased by 25.3%, in average it makes 1.05 mln barrels a day.
China imported in average 0.78 mln barrels a day from Iran, 1.336 mln tons from Kuwait, 9.936 mln tons from Venezuela.
