SCO countries must soon decide on the establishment of the bank associations - Medvedev

Astana. December 15. Silkroadnews - Countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) must soon decide on the establishment of a financial institution serving the interests of SCO, said Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. About this KazTAG.
"The project activities of the SCO should have financial backing, should have a set of financial instruments that we need to create. And this is the burning question - a burning issue. A mechanism of financial support - a necessary condition for successful implementation of projects. Therefore, in the near future, the country must complete consultations on its establishment, in order to decide how we will work: on the basis of a structure, whether it is a Eurasian Development Bank or any of the new structure, we must take a decision",- said Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Governments of the SCO in Astana on Monday.
According to him, in June 2015 in St. Petersburg as part of the annual business forum is planned the SCO summit.
