SCO expects revival of terrorists in the region
Tashkent. June 17. Silkroadnews - The Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO RATS) notes a serious revival of international terrorist forces in the region.
"On the one hand, this is a serious revival of the forces of the" three evils "in the region, in particular international terrorist and religious extremist forces," - said in the final documents of the tenth anniversary meeting of the SCO RATS Executive Committee, which was held in Tashkent on Tuesday.
According to the organization, terrorist organizations are actively engaged in propaganda, thereby causing considerable damage to public policy in the member states of the SCO.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization - a permanent intergovernmental international organization, which includes six countries: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Declaration on the establishment of the SCO signed by the Heads of States in Shanghai June 15, 2001.
Observers of the organization are: Afghanistan, India, Iran, Pakistan and Mongolia. Dialogue partner status with the SCO are Belarus, Sri Lanka and Turkey. RATS Executive Committee is based in Tashkent.
