Almaty. July 10. Silkroadnews - SCO countries need to strengthen cooperation with Afghanistan in the security sphere. This was stated by President Xi Jinping, reported the agency TASS.
"We need to play a greater role in the implementation of national reconciliation and economic reconstruction in Afghanistan", - said the Chinese leader.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) - a regional international association, which includes Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The official application for full membership in the organization in September 2014 filed India and Pakistan. Iran also claims to full membership in the SCO.
