Second stage of “Dushanbe-2” CHPP shall be completed in Tajikistan this autumn
Almaty. June 13. Silkroadnews – This autumn the construction of the second stage of “Dushanbe-2” CHPP is expected to be completed in the capital of Tajikistan, Tajik Telegraph Agency (TajikTA) reported on Monday.
“This autumn Tajikistan plans to complete the construction of the second stage of “Dushanbe-2” CHPP, the due volume of coal shall be purchased by the beginning of the heating season assuming the station needs about 180 thousand tons of coal per month in the season to generate the heat volume planned,” the information is confirmed at the national energy holding “Barki Tojik”.
CHPP-2 shall operate 4-5 months in the season depending on the heat volume as generated by other production facilities of the country.
With the launch of the second stage the plant is supposed to consume up to 6 thousand tonnes of coal per day.
The first stage of the heating plant with its capacity of 100 MW consumed up to 1.2 thousand tonnes of coal per day.
Currently, the general contractor of the project, the Chinese company Tabian Apparatus Stoc Co., continues the construction of the next stage of the object that began last spring.
In particular, the works are carried out on testing the heating system as well as emission filtration system.
