Service for the fight against drugs developed for the Afghan security forces

Almaty. June 25. Silkroadnews - The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in conjunction with the Ministry of Counter Narcotics of Afghanistan have developed and launched an online resource, informs the center for news organizations.
"The Afghan security forces will have access to information, including information on measures to combat illicit trafficking, production volumes, commodity prices, as well as operations to intercept drugs", - says the publication.
According to the regional representative of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime, Andrey Avetisyan, a new resource will help in the preparation of future strategies to combat drug trafficking in Afghanistan.
Recall that in 2014 opium production in the country increased by 17% and reached 6.4 tons.
