SF Airlines acquired 45th aircraft, becoming leader in China’s air cargo market
Beijing. Jul 5. Silkroadnews - SF Airlines, the aviation division of the Chinese giant SF Express, has acquired the 45th cargo freighter plane, China Plus reports.
This is the fourth freighter added to the aircraft fleet of SF Airlines this year. Thus, SF Airlines now has the largest fleet providing air cargo transportation in China.
To date, SF Airlines has 23 B757-200 aircraft, 17 B737s and five B767 air-cargo freighters.
SF Airlines, based in Shenzhen, specializes in providing air express services and specialized air services.
Due to its nationwide and global network, SF Airlines has transported about 2 million tonnes of cargo since its operations started in 2009.
In China, there has been an increase in the aviation express transport industry. In 2017, China transported 7.06 million tonnes of air mail cargo, which is 5.6% more than in the previous year.
