Almaty. December 14. Silkroadnews – Elected President Shavkat Mirziyoyev swore his allegiance to the people of Uzbekistan and has officially assumed the office of the President of the country, UzTAG reports.
“I solemnly swear to faithfully serve the people of Uzbekistan, strictly adhere to the Constitution and laws of the republic, guarantee the rights and freedoms of citizens and conscientiously fulfill the duties of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, Sh. Mirziyoyev said.
Chairman of the Central Election Commission handed out to Sh. Mirziyoyev card of the president and CEC’s certificate.
To remind, on December 4 Sh. Mirziyoyev won the presidential elections held in Uzbekistan, having gained 88.61% of the votes.
